Due to an internal promotion, we have a unique opportunity for a full time UI/UX Designer to join our Ecommerce team based in Manukau.

This role is works closely with the UI/UX Design Lead and will be responsible for creating engaging, high-quality web pages for our ecommerce platform and ensuring brand consistency and a seamless user experience.

In this role you will:

• Create mock-ups based on project briefs, ensuring they align with business objectives and user needs.
• Translate designs into responsive user-friendly web pages through front-end development.
• Maintain a high standard of quality for all deliverables, ensuring they meet technical and design requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SEO specialists, marketing, and merchandise coordinators, to align outputs with broader business goals.
• Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in web design and development.

The attributes we are looking for are:

• Solid technical skills in UI and UX design.
• Continuous improvement mindset and great at creative problem solving.
• Meticulous attentions to detail and able to work at speed when required.
• Great communicator and collaborator with a wide range of stakeholders with the ability to be flexible and negotiate to get the right outcome.
• Ideally experience in a retail or other fast-paced organisation.
