In this Advertising Coordinator position, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting our Bedding & Furniture division with marketing and advertising activities. We’re seeking a proactive, detail-oriented individual ready to make an impact in a dynamic team environment. This is a permanent full-time position based in our Manukau Head Office.

About this role:

In this role, you will coordinate a full programme of local and national tv, radio, print & digital advertising for the Furniture and Bedding departments, working closely with Product Managers to deliver engaging, on-brand campaigns.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Plan, brief and coordinate advertising campaigns across TV, radio, print and digital platforms.
  • Oversee the creative process, including briefing designers, product data entry, pricing, and photography coordination through to final sign off in line with the advertising schedule.
  • Coordinate print and digital advertising production including proofing ads, ensuring compliance, and securing final approvals within set deadlines.
  • Ensure consistency across all advertising materials and media channels.
  • Coordinate point of sale materials, ticketing and promotional pricing for Furniture and Bedding campaigns.
  • Assist with setting up promotions in SAP and on the Harvey Norman website including online product and imagery database updates.
  • Support the wider Furniture and Bedding advertising team with ad-hoc projects and local advertising campaigns.

What we’re looking for:

  • A Marketing or Advertising degree with atleast 1 year experience in a similar role.
  • Confident working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with fast and accurate data entry skills.
  • Adaptable and flexible, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A creative mindset with the ability to think innovatively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (intermediate to advanced level).
  • Understanding of key advertising mediums (press, catalogues, TV, digital and radio)
  • Retail industry experience is preferred
