Join Harvey Norman in this newly created role, in our Manukau Support Office! This 15-month fixed-term, full-time position will support the People Operations Projects team as part of our HR Tech replacement project.  

We have recently embarked on a journey to streamline processes, reduce technological complexity, and boost efficiency within our people management systems. This initiative will improve people data management, compliance, visibility and analytics, productivity, and employee engagement for approximately 15,000 people across Australia and New Zealand.  

About the Role  

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a large scale, complex digital transformation. Working with the NZ team project team and alongside the Head of People Operations NZ you will assist with testing, organisational change management and training 

  • Lead the Organisational Change stream for NZ including reviewing strategy documents, customising materials for the NZ business
  • Assist with system user acceptance testing
  • Conduct impact assessments and stakeholder analyses to guide engagement efforts
  • Communicate project updates to ensure all stakeholders have a clear understanding
  • Work with project leads to plan and deliver effective change 

About You  

You have previous experience either in a generalist HR Advisory role, Training and Development role or Organisational Change role.  You understand the impact technology changes can have in a large business and enjoy seeing your efforts contribute to organisational success. You bring experience in business process analysis and aligning solutions with business requirements. You’re skilled in stakeholder identification, engagement and communication, ensuring agreed KPI’s and deliverables are met, while also being hands-on where needed.  

You will also bring: 

  • Experience in organisational change management, ideally within HR or people systems projects 
  • Familiarity with change management frameworks
  • Proficiency in planning and delivering project-wide communications
  • The ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment 

You are a methodical problem-solver who approaches challenges with persistence and clarity. A collaborative team player, you bring strong reporting capabilities and a structured approach to identifying business opportunities. You remain resilient under pressure and consistently deliver on time.
