Looking to build your marketing career in a fast-paced, evolving retail environment? Join our Head Office Electrical team as an Advertising & Marketing Assistant, where you’ll play a key role in supporting online and traditional marketing activity.

At Harvey Norman, you’ll gain hands-on experience across e-commerce, digital marketing, and campaign coordination, while working with a passionate and supportive team within one of New Zealand’s leading retailers.

About the Role:

This is a varied and detail-driven role supporting the execution of online product management and marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate website content, coordinating promotions, and assisting with marketing materials across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update website product listings, pricing, and promotions using CMS tools.
  • Coordinate and support digital & traditional marketing campaigns
  • Assist with campaign briefs and liaising with internal teams, suppliers, and agencies.
  • Manage pricing updates and promotional data across spreadsheets and systems.
  • Maintain website pages, including category, campaign, and promotional content.
  • Provide support and act as a key contact for website-related queries for the Electrical team.
  • Ensure all marketing activity meets compliance standards and company policies

 About You:

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about marketing, e-commerce and technology.

Attributes we are looking for include:

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent data entry accuracy.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Interest in digital marketing, e-commerce and technology.
  • Experience with CMS platforms, digital marketing tools, or Adobe Suite (desirable).
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or retail/marketing experience (desirable).
