We are looking for an up-and-coming retail professional to join our Manukau support office as an Assistant Product and Marketing Manager for Computers. This is a full-time position.
About the role:
- Assist the product manager in product management, marketing and advertising to ensure all category objectives and strategies are met.
- Contribute to strategic planning and development of categories, obtaining a clear understanding of overall business objectives, activities, risks and priorities.
- Organise and coordinate meetings with suppliers and internal teams.
- Creation of reporting for internal and external requirements, results calculators, and competitor analysis
- Category administrative duties and Database maintenance.
About you:
- Experience within a Retail environment up to a Store Manager, Product Co-Ordinator or Assistant Product Manager level. Including knowledge of retail floor layout, merchandising, promotions, supplier liaison, sales and pricing.
- Well-developed knowledge of, and experience in a medium to large enterprise involving multiple business sites with the ability to think and act both tactically and strategically.
- Attention to detail; extreme care in accuracy.
- Proven time management ability, managing your own workload, multiple projects, tasks and people’s expectations concurrently and prioritise to meet the business needs.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills. With Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office, including Excel and report writing.
- Flexible and adaptable, with an ability to work autonomously and with limited guidance, as well as being a team player.
