Harvey Norman has a fabulous opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join the Head Office Furniture team. Working out of our Manukau support office, this role is part of the central administration team supporting the Furniture department for all their administrative needs.

This is a full-time Monday to Friday role, allowing for great work-life balance. 

Our Administration team plays a crucial role in ensuring our back-end functions run smoothly.

In this role you will:

• Provide accurate and efficient support in all areas of administration.
• Liaise with Suppliers on behalf of the GM and Product Managers
• Process invoices in preparation for payment.
• Ensure all product information (including specifications and images) are accurate and of the highest quality.
• Assist with compliance work, and update trading agreements and other documents as requested.
• Maintain a first-class filing system of all documentation.
• Answer all incoming telephone calls in a friendly, polite, and helpful manner.

Experience within the retail industry or administration would be advantageous, however the main attributes we are looking for are: 

• Organisational and administrative skills, and great attention to detail.
• Being a team player and wanting to work in a close-knit team.
• Having a natural affinity for creating order and following processes.
