This is full-time, 1 year fixed-term position is located in our Manukau Head Office.
In this role you will:
- Coordinate a full programme of local and national tv, radio, print & digital advertising for Furniture and Bedding departments. A process which includes liaising with Product Managers and stores to create briefs for our in-house designers/teams, proofing, checking for compliance, and coordinating final ad sign offs - all within set deadlines.
- Coordinate all aspects of press advertising for the Furniture department. A process which includes working with Product Managers on content, data entry of product information and pricing, coordinating photography requirements, briefing in layouts to our in-house designers, proofing, checking for compliance and coordinating final sign off - all within set deadlines.
- Coordinate ‘point of sale’, ticketing and promotional pricing for various Furniture and Bedding campaigns, ensuring that all elements are delivered to stores in a timely manner for in-store execution.
- Ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines of advertising materials created across the various media channels for each campaign.
- Assist the wider Furniture and Bedding advertising team with advertising campaigns as required.
The skills and experience you’ll need to bring with you include:
- A Marketing, Business or Advertising related degree with an understanding of market trends and consumer buying behavior with at least 2 years experience in a similar role
- An understanding of advertising mediums (press, catalogues, TV, digital and radio)
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent multi-tasking and prioritising skills, particularly in a deadline driven environment
- An ability to communicate clearly, both verbal and written
- A creative flair, with an ability to think innovatively
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
- Confidence to interact with all levels of staff and management with an ability to formulate opinions and provide arguments to support ideas
- An ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation, regulations and standards, i.e. the Fair Trading Act
