In this 10-month fixed-term, full-time role, you will play a vital part in managing the flow of stock and documentation between our distribution centres, stores, and transport providers. Your attention to detail and strong communication skills will help ensure accurate processing, timely deliveries, and effective resolution of logistics-related queries. This position is located at our Auckland FDC Warehouse.
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Administrator to support the coordination of stock movements, documentation, and communication between our distribution centres, stores, and transport providers. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely processing of orders, resolving stock discrepancies, and maintaining smooth logistics operations.
Some key tasks will include:
- Process and manage daily paperwork, purchase orders, and EDI communications
- Coordinate with warehouses and transport providers to ensure accurate stock movement
- Resolve stock discrepancies and respond to store and supplier queries
- Maintain spare parts inventory and assist with customer service issues
- Support stocktake processes and contribute to logistics improvement projects
About You
We are looking for a person with a high level of work ethic and professionalism, able to deal with a variety of audiences of differing levels of expertise.
Some attributes we are looking for include:
- Previous experience in a Warehouse Admin focused role
- Quick learner organised with administrative skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office knowledge.
