We have an exciting opportunity for a Studio Assistant to join our Furniture & Bedding Styling team. This is a 12 month fixed term, part-time role based in Papakura which supports our styling team during photo shoots for catalogues, magazines, press and online advertising.
About the Role:
- Assist with set construction, including building, painting, and moving walls, as well as installing and removing flooring
- Unpack, assemble, disassemble, and repack products required for shoots
- Maintain a clean, organised, and photo-ready studio environment
- Ensure all stock management processes are followed, including accurate tracking, handling, and movement of products, with all required documentation completed correctly
- Check stock for damage and complete all related documentation accurately
- Carry out administrative duties, including liaising with stores, suppliers, and transport companies to manage product movements
- Drive to stores and suppliers across Auckland to collect and return products
- Source props and building materials as required
- Support stylist with day-to-day tasks and assist the wider team as needed
- Attend training and staff meetings
- Perform other duties as reasonably directed
This role will be working:
- Monday 11:30am - 3:30pm
- Tuesday 7:00am - 11:00am
- Wednesday 11:30am - 3:30pm
- Thursday 11:30am - 3:30pm
- Friday 7:00am - 11:00am
About You:

Some attributes we are looking for include:
- Physically capable of performing manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving heavy furniture and fixtures
- Confident using hand tools
- Strong interest in photography and design
- Full NZ driver’s licence (required)
- Strong attention to detail
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (including Excel)
- Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
