We are looking for someone to join our existing team to provide extra support during the migration of harveynorman.co.nz to Shopify. The groundwork is in place, so you will be jumping in at an exciting time in the project. This 8-month fixed-term, full-time role is based in our Manukau Head Office.

About the role

You will act as the link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring proposed solutions are aligned to business objectives, operational requirements, and customer experience expectations.

You will work with our tech partners to ensure their tools are integrated into the new platform, their timelines are met, and they are kept well informed.

You will configure Shopify and other platforms to prepare them to hand over to the operational team and write guides and provide training if required.

About you

• You will have strong Shopify experience including integrating new platforms and plug-ins, and ideally full migrations.
• You will be comfortable taking ownership of a piece of work from business requirement, through development and testing, and operationalising it. 
• You can quickly understand complex business processes, identify underlying business needs, and translate these into practical and effective technology solutions. You ask insightful questions, challenge assumptions appropriately, and ensure requirements are clearly documented and understood by all stakeholders.
• You are comfortable communicating with a range of stakeholders and managing competing priorities to ensure timelines are met.
